Feng Jianming a 47 year old food delivery rider working in Melbourne to send money back to his family in China was stabbed and killed in the Melbourne CBD for the food he was delivering. To all the politicians and bureaucrats who go out of their way to tell us our streets are safe for the sake of they jobs and votes perhaps you’d like to tell that to Feng’s family who have lost their Dad. The next time you’re all out trying to justify your appalling public commentary on the state of our streets and the violence on them remember Feng and his family and know that we as the general public have had enough of all of you and you’re utter nonsense.
Well Albo’s back in Australia and although he’s still in denial about who’s to blame for inflation and interest rates he’s got a plan! A plan to cut the budget and show he’s not delusional after all! You know what he wants to cut? Rebates on home batteries! Now I don’t often agree with Chris Bowen, but Bowen is at odds with the PM on this and he’s spot on! How does Labor cut the home battery rebate and think anyone will ever take them seriously ever again about renewable energy? Don’t we want homes generating their own power? Not in Albo’s world! Albo would rather cut one of the pathways to renewables than cut any of the $43 billion price tag on the public service. What a complete joke.
In Victoria polls are now so bad for Labor that it could be the case they end up third in the election race. If that does happen it means One Nation will become the official opposition in Victoria! Who would’ve thought that back in 2022?!
Now I am all for hospitality industry leaders showing up on podcasts and having a go at governments etc…so when Chris Lucas slotted Albo on a Sydney podcast recently it was great to hear a leader within the industry take on the government BUT! Can someone please tell restaurant owners and state holders if they really want to keep people onside don’t show up wearing a watch worth more than the average family car! The Patek Phillipe Aquanaut Lucas had on would’ve been worth more than $60,000 and watches like that don’t really relate to those doing it toughest, next time Chris wear the Apple Watch.
Over in the US where Trump is still coming to terms with the blue wave hammering he got he’s decided to appoint Stephen Miller as his new chief of staff. Miller has been involved with Trumo for sometime and was the person who put together the whole ICE thing where Trump wanted immigrants gone…did it work? Ahhhhhh no.
Apparently Russell Brand was petrified on his first night in prison!! That’s a shame isn’t it? Here’s hoping Russell gets more support and love in general population if he ever gets there!
And finally Aussie cricket is stuffed. While the old players were out having a beer and a smoke then playing with astonishing bravery and commitment to their mates and country the modern crop? They’re being inclusive and deciding who are the woke approved sponsors of the team then cheating and losing. The day the Aussie cricket team became a mouth piece for the wokes was the day the real spirit of Aussie cricket went out the door.
