As much as I do swear like it’s an Olympic sport I do at least try to avoid swearing in what I write, but I’m sorry today, all bets are off!
WHAT THE ABSOLUTE FUCK IS GOING ON?!!
Not only did the worst PM in Australian history, Albo, get an award for being a good global citizen, but now the utterly piss taking Anika Wells has been named by TIME magazine in the Top 100 of the Worlds most influential rising stars! How much lobbying did these cost the Australian tax payer? Lobbying for these ridiculous things is similar to how restaurants get in the world top 50 list, the more people you know, the more you suck up to the right people, guess what? You suddenly win awards! Leaving aside Albo being called a global citizen that Wells can be seen as a rising star is terrifying! It’s genuinely terrifying because it means someone can be judged an influential rising star after they’ve been proven to be a complete piss taker when it comes to tax payer money! And again how much bullshit lobbying did it take to get Wells her top 100 spot? Wells will no doubt get credit for the under 16 social media ban, but again to most it’s been a disaster! This is spin of the highest order and while Labor will be using it as diversionary tactic the reality is that house prices in Australia could fall so far the only comparable period of similar decline is the Great Depression! Enjoy those awards!
Yesterday we heard of how an Israeli plumber by the name of Yaniv Hayoun helped save several hundred people from certain death onboard flight FZ1073 to Tel Aviv. Hayoun is now a justified hero but it didn’t stop the ABC here in Australia posting the headline of;
‘What’s real and what’s fake online about the FlyDubai incident’
This headline went at the bottom of several articles covering the mid air incident and it makes you ask, would the ABC have published a similar headline and article had the hero plumber been a Palestinian? The bias, the disgusting insinuation from the ABC around misinformation off the back of several Jews being involved should be referred straight to the watchdog and the ABC publish a formal apology.
Jim Penman, the man who created a mobile empire across multiple industries, most notably, Jim’s Mowing has not held back when being critical of the Albanese government. Jim like many business owners can’t fathom the level of taxation in Australia and how much debt the country has. Maybe Albo could do a day on the tools to see how the other half live?
On October 1st Albo made it illegal for businesses to pass credit card surcharges onto their customers. The days of being ripped off, over charged and having to put up with small businesses passing bank fees onto the customer were Albo said with glee! But what if small businesses just put their prices up? How good is that for inflation now Albo? Dickhead.
The knock on of surcharges is that the ATO are stopping businesses putting payments on credit cards. Now yes you should pay your Tax bill with real money but credit cards can also be how some small businesses run their numbers, not any more though. As of November 1st credit cards are out and small businesses need to come up with a new way to pay their tax bills.
And finally Chris Fagan the legendary Brisbane coach has decided to give the lions coaching job away. I think many of us who were watching Fagan after the latest grand final win were thinking he might call time and now he has. Fagan retires a legend of the Lions and shows age is but a number. Enjoy that much deserved retirement Coach.
