Well like the Preliminary Final the Grand Final was a game for the ages that if you were a neutral observer you wish there didn’t have to be a loser. Sadly for Fremantle it was an utterly devastating loss handed to them by what is now one of the great AFL teams. To kick the day off was a performance from our Kylie, which it must be said was wrongly criticised by the good gossip and bullshit folk down at the Daily Mail Australia. Not five minutes after the game was over the Daily Mail had loaded their garbage trying to slot Kylie. But whatevs it was pretty clear the grotty little tabloid had got it wrong because Kylie was awesome!

Chris Fagan is now a three time premiership coach and as much as it seems he may now walk away from the Brisbane job he goes down as one of the great coaches. All we can say is well done Brisbane and it’s hard to believe we will ever hear Wharfie time again when the game seems won.

Hey, where’s Albo? He missed Kylie! Yes we all knew that the PM would miss the big dance of awkwardness with our Kylie but it could well be the case Albo would’ve rathered be at the grand final! See Albo has not had a great time in the US! Yes he got his little award of bullshit but he was pretty much ignored by Trump, had three men and a dog show up for his soulless and really quite badly written speech for the UN and had to tell everyone that Australia had been hacked by an Ai bot who didn’t want to do what it was told. Poor old Albo…

Speaking of Trump the man who looks like he’s got more shares in Ai companies than most, he’s knocked back a peace deal from Iran. For us it means petrol prices aren’t going down anytime soon and for the war itself it means Iran will hang in limbo until the US mid terms are over and then all bets are off.

Moving away from the political fire engulfing the world it would seem it’s only a matter of time before we see an end to the major department store. Myer recently posted its biggest loss ever and it appears David Jones is in a similar position. It’s such a tragedy that we may well see the end to both retailers as they’ve been with us for so long but such is the nature of modern retail. The other key factor is the cost of employing people nowadays. Yes people deserve to get paid what they’re worth but when you have wages combined with higher cost of goods, rents and lower customer numbers the maths don’t work like they used. It appears Michelle Bullock may get her wish after all!

And finally the Brazilian soccer team are in town for a couple of matches against the Socceroos, but the lads from Brazil haven’t covered themselves in glory. The Brazil team was given a welcome to country and traditional indigenous dance to which the lad replied with a few laughs. Now we all know the issues all this welcome to country stuff brings but imagine going to Brazil and laughing at God? You’d be chased out of the country! Here? Well we’re not sure what we should be standing up for!
