The Australian is reporting that Victorian One Nation leader, Warren Pickering is a man with a past. A past that includes some serious allegations of drug fuelled behaviours that question his ability to hold down a role as leader of a major political party. Now it must be said these are indeed allegations from a former partner and Pickering denies all allegations but regardless it’s not a great look. Having said that we do have wildly unqualified people currently in both state and federal parliaments so are we now suggesting people can’t have a past? It remains to be seen if Pickering survives the allegations but it will be a test of the shifting attitudes towards aspiring and current politicians.

Could the Libs be on their way back? Over the weekend the Libs announced they’re going to make sure burning the Aussie flag becomes illegal! Great idea! And this is an interesting move by the Libs because could it indicate they’re going to play into the basics? National pride, unity over division and cost of living…time will tell but at least they’re now trying!

Mike ‘Philby’ Burgess he of the Australian intelligence services has said he warned everyone about the rise of anti semitism and potential threats to national security. Burgess had indeed made several public statements about potential threats to national security which I indeed remember but that no one in government listened to him seems ludicrous. While it is indeed ludicrous that no one in government listened to Burgess are we really that surprised? Politicians are incompetent beyond the realms of comprehension and that they don’t seem to understand national security is not only frustrating it’s actually cost lives and that’s totally unacceptable.

While we’re allowing the manosphere to run riot across the screens of our young men Hockey Australia have some serious questions to answer as to why and how a bloke is playing women’s hockey. There is another trans person (a man) running around in the women’s hockey league and this Trans (man) has apparently played at a very high male level. I’m sorry but why are we continuing with this crap? And we of course haven’t heard which bathroom this trans (man) uses! Time to knock this all off and start standing up for the women who have to put up with this nonsense.
