Not for the first time in the history of Victoria the UN has criticised the once mighty state for failing its citizens when it comes to human rights. A recent UN report has suggested the demolition of 44 housing commission towers in Melbourne sees the state failing in its duty to provide housing for its people as a basic human right. Now Ben Carroll is all about integrity so we can only assume he’ll make sure the housing commission tenants will have somewhere to live, but that the UN is taking aim at Victoria isn’t a good look for Labor…even if it says it’s different!

In case you missed it a good portion of the world is turning away from the US and finding alternative import partners, alternative defence support and alternative natural resources, Australia though? Well because Albo hasn’t got any balls Australia, despite selling most of the country off to the Chinese, Australia is pressing ahead with standing by Trump. So that means dropping bombs off the coast of Australia is fine and that AUKUS is full steam ahead! This is while Albo killed the car business in Australia by basically letting any Chinese EV car to be sold here! 

Speaking of Chinese EV’s it appears the fallout from the world allowing cheap Chinese cars to dominate the market is having massive impacts on the industry. The latest car company to feel the brunt? VW. Across its business VW is looking at cutting 100,000 jobs with more to come. Car manufacturers simply can’t compete with what China is doing.

As much as I would’ve liked to interview now former North Melbourne coach, Alastair Clarkson, the interview Age head of Football, Caroline Wilson wrote about the former coach showed why she’s the best. Clarko is upset and says he was blindsided by the club that has now thrown him under the bus. It’s hard to see how the North board survives after this issue and neither shouldn’t they. A new coach with new direction and a new board that brings in some spirit to a club currently devoid of it.

Sydney Rabbitohs player and MND sufferer, Jai Arrow played his 100th game for his beloved Rabbitohs yesterday and what an event it was. Not a dry eye in the house for Arrow who wore his full team kit and was helped by NRL legend Wayne Bennett on and off the ground. It was one of those moments in the history of Aussie sport you’ll say you saw and one that will never be forgotten.
