Editorial 

Hello and welcome to today’s edition of the Sunday Hoodies!

Well first up credit where credit is due, Wildcard weekend for the AFL was a great success. Seeing Collingwood lose by a kick after the siren was of course the highlight, but regardless of results the games were outstanding and here’s hoping it’s a great finals series.

Well we were half tempted to have the photo of Albo in the mosque on our front cover today because of how he looked when he was in a bit of potential of trouble, but while we went with the Andrews statue Ai image Albo would today be very very nervous about what One Nation are doing. The by election in the seat of Secret Harbour in WA has handed Albo his nuts on a plate and is the latest in the ‘we have had enough middle finger’ from a growing number of Australians at Labor. One Nation candidate, Luke Herdergen has thumped Labor and has said to the Libs the party is over. That means Labor has had a 27% swing AWAY from them! That’s massive and shows that One Nation could well pull off the biggest election shock in Australian political history at the next federal election especially if Labor don’t start taking the threat of the orange tsunami seriously.

In Victoria, Ben Carroll has done the state a favour but does he really think we’re that stupid? Yes he ditched the Andrews statue but Benny mate, you were there for all the bullshit and while we know you’re not Danny or Barbie you know what went down. While it seems Benny has decided to ditch all future statues of knob head politicians why don’t we do something constructive? Why don’t we have statues of people that have made Victoria proud? Musicians, performers, artists, well known and loved Victorians who have made their mark on the state. Kylie, Sidney Nolan, Barry Humphries, Archie Roach, Paul Kelly…the list is long and much more meaningful than having politicians feted. 

Thousands are feared dead or missing in Nepal and while the world watches and tries to work out how best to help the people of Nepal what does the lefty woke world do? Climbs onboard the good ship climate change. It never ceases to amaze how the left make themselves out to be the arbiters of the truth and want to grab the moral high ground to push an agenda when there things to do now! Let’s talk about cause later but right now let’s help the poor people of Nepal. Once the situation is settled then let’s talk constructively and properly about cause and how we can best mitigate risk when Nepal is rebuilt without the morality lesson or the end of the world is nigh drama!
