As Australia descends into the abyss of allowing flags of terrorist organisations to be displayed at a ‘protest’ and as we watch the Australian flag burnt the next issue of Hoodies Magazine is putting away the baseball bat of accountability and focusing on all that is Food and Booze.

As much as we roll our eyes at the utter stupidity of the new Nick Reece plan to establish an optimism plan and introduce happiness KPI’s at the City of Melbourne, as we shake our heads at yet another Victorian Government ‘mandate’, as much as we watch Aussie families and youth struggle with housing affordability, as people continue to struggle with cost of living and as we watch the last remnants of the equalities of democracy fade away I feel we need to focus, at least for one issue, on the things that make us feel good and celebrate all the good things in the food and booze industry!

On August 25th issue 25 will drop and it will be a collaboration between Hoodies and hospitality recruitment company Staff Finder, a company I set up from scratch and simply wants to help the hospitality industry find the right people for the right job!

In the meantime we continue the war on all things stupid, nonsensical and that take away from who we are as Australians!
